I have had many questions regarding the potty training of Jenday Conures. Can this be done? Yes it can, Jenday Conures are very intelligent animals and can be potty trained, however I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS. Several years back I came across a Conure which was potty trained. The owner had decided that they no longer wanted the bird in their home as he was too loud and messy. The problem with re homing this sweet little guy is that this sweet little bird would hold his potty and wait for the owner to take him to the toilet. While holding his potty he was prone for serious bacteria infections.
