Hi,

I will tell you my story and maybe you can help me. HA!

I was wondering if you had an older tame sun conure that was tamed that needs a good home. I have a peach fronted conure and a Quaker. The peach fronted was used to having a sun conure as company, but she moved when my daughter moved. Now he is sad. I would like for it to be a female, but doesn’t matter. My peach fronted is five and his last cage mate was 3. I thought maybe someone you know might have to adopt out an older sun conure. I know they will need to be separate and slowly introduced, and it is possible that they may never like each other enough to be cage mates, and that’s okay. I have had larger birds too, like a Goffin and Sulphur Crested Cockatoo’s, but I prefer the smaller breeds. I am so fascinated with the beauty of the Sun Conure. I don’t even mind their squealing. To me, they are quiet compared to the cockatoo’s. I love how comical they ca be too.

I was looking for something a few years old, if possible to keep the cost down. I also wondered if you would consider a partial or full trade. I have a beautiful real nice black curve stand that holds a silver tray style portable perch stand. It almost looks like a sterling silver oblong platter with a perch and two holes for water and/or food cups. It’s very nice. I also have a stand that any size bird can use. I see this kind on Craigslist go for $100-$150. It is big and round on top with ladders going up each side to each level. With a white plastic removal tray on the bottom. It has two holes for water and food bowls. It’s about 5 ft tall or so.
And it’s made of that good steel.

I want you to know I take great care of my birds. The are spoiled rotten! They get to see a traveling Aviary Vet from Chicago three times a year. His name is Dr. Scott McDonald. I am hoping you can help me with what I am looking for. I understand one of the stores customers is possibly looking to rehome her Sun Cunure that is now boarding with your son.

If it means anything, I live near the Detroit Zoo.

Anyway, if you could let me know I would appreciate it.

Thank you.
